Glory Daze follows the continuing adventures of the Brothers of Kappa Epsilon Gamma as they navigate the ups and downs of college life at Frostbrew University.
With that logline, Glory Daze was announced to the world in April of 2016. But, the idea for the comic dates all the way back to 1999 while I was attending school at Frostburg State University in Western Maryland. While sitting in Contemporary Ethical Problems in Dunkle Hall, I began to map out a very rudimentary version of what would eventually become the comic that you’re now reading.
This project, which is very near-and-dear to my heart, is based loosely on the five amazing years I spent as a brother of Omega Epsilon at Frostburg. The story captures the spirit of the best years of my young adult life — the camaraderie of brotherhood; the misadventures of trying to find a place in the world; and the lasting friendships made over cheap beer at a basement party.
Although I may make light of it from time to time, Glory Daze is truly a labor of love for me and I couldn’t be happier to share my story with the world. Thanks and enjoy!
